How we can help
One-to-one pelvic health support & physiotherapy
Whilst your pelvic floor might not be the first thing you think of when it comes to menopause, changes to your pelvic floor function can come about as a result.
The onset of menopause can cause your pelvic floor muscles – just like the rest of the muscles in your body – to weaken. This can lead to issues with urinary frequency, incontinence or prolapse, issues which can be exacerbated by other factors such as previous childbirth or recent weight gain.
So it’s important to care for your pelvic health during this time.
Our team of Women's Health Physios are all Pelvic Obstetric & Gynaecology specialists and can support you throughout your menopause journey to care for your pelvis, bladder and bowel. You'll receive a tailored treatment plan and exercises to strengthen your pelvic floor and eliminate or significantly reduce any painful symptoms you are experiencing.
